What to Calibrate

The following is the list of quantities to be determined as part of the field calibration process:

•Transfer function parameters: such as critical damage w₅₀ and shape parameter b_crk for fatigue cracking transfer function

•The coefficient of variance of selected random inputs needed to reflect the amount of within project variabilities in typical projects

•The performance multiplier for the selected design reliability level to account for between project variabilities.
