Accelerated Pavement Testing Facilities
The Pavement Research Center has a dedicated facility and offices
for construction and accelerated testing of full-scale pavements. The accelerated
pavement testing facility equipment list includes:
- 2 Heavy Vehicle Simulators
- Indoor pavement testing facility
- Accompanying climate control equipment (heaters, chillers, temperature control housing)
- Multi-Depth Deflectometers (MDD), associated installation equipment, and field support vehicle
- Road Surface Deflectometer
- Laser Profilometer
- Crack Activity Meter
- Joint Activity Meter
